At Oak & Audubon, we don’t do anything “basic.” The Cluster Dot is our take on the classic menswear staple- the polka dot.

The Story:

I was designing pocket squares one day, and I was in need of a shape- something to fill space in the pattern and I looked down at my signet ring and found the solution was on my finger the whole time. Featuring seven dots, the pattern came from a heirloom diamond cluster ring that my father gifted mother for their 25th anniversary. After my parents passing, I made it into a signet ring, reusing the gold with the seven diamond cluster forming a most unique sort of “bezel”.

Eventually, I saw the seven dots as symbolic of the seven continents, forever indicative of the wonderlust of the brand and indeed myself as the designer.

This icon is an enduring memory of a parent’s love, and the continual hope to see every aspect of the world as possible.
